Coral Reef 3D Screensaver – Tropical Fish and a Sunken Ship
If you would like to escape the monotony of your office, the 3PlaneSoft-developed application Coral Reef 3D Screensaver can prove to be useful. This application will take you to the bottom of the ocean and will allow you to admire the beauty of a coral reef.
When Coral Reef 3D Screensaver starts running it displays a beautiful looking coral reef. You get to see the coral and the various species of tropical fish that swim around the coral. In the distance you see the remains of an old sunken ship.
While Coral Reef 3D Screensaver is running it plays some relaxing music in the background. If as mentioned above you are at the office, chances are you will not want others to hear the music. You will most likely want to turn the music off. You can do this by pressing the M key while Coral Reef 3D Screensaver is running, or by going to the Settings window and disabling the music altogether.
Before you get this application and put it to the test, take a look at the technical details presented below:
Download – the download weighs in at 13.6MB.
Installation – at the time of writing this, support is provided for Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7 (32-bit and 64-bit editions). During the installation process you can choose between these languages: English, German, French and Russian.
During the installation process you are asked to install the 3Planesoft Screensaver Manager. This manager provides information about your currently installed 3PlaneSoft screensaver and about other screensaver 3PlaneSoft has to offer. The manager allows you to access the settings of all the 3PlaneSoft screensavers installed on your system. It also comes with a feature to automatically change the screensaver after a specific amount of time, or to display a different screensaver each time the computer goes idle. This manager is quite useful if you have more than one 3PlaneSoft screensaver.
Limitations – a nag screen will appear after 90 seconds when using the trial version. To get rid of this nag screen you have to purchase a license.
The Coral Reef 3D Screensaver application is very similar to another 3PlaneSoft-developed app: Coral Clock 3D Screensaver. The later also displays the coral reef and various tropical fish – but instead of displaying a sunken ship, it displays a clock in the background.
